The Hills Area

Recently newer houses have been built in numerous locations. The key locations for newer built homes are Park Hill Drive (off Hamstead Hill), Asbury Grange (off Hamstead Hill), Butlers Court Lane (off Butlers Road), The Grange (off Hamstead Hill) and Lea Hall Gardens (off Wood Lane).
College Road Area
This area comprises of one of the main parade of shops which includes the Post Office, hardware shop, butchers and numerous food outlets. There are traditional terraced properties and is one of the most affordable sections of Handsworth Wood.
The most notable buildings are the Old Handsworth Town Hall, which was built in 1460, and Wesleyan Theological College which was built in 1881. Wesleyan Theological College is now known as Hamstead Campus, which are student halls set within this exquisite historical location.
